Author Information

Kevin Sheedy is one of the biggest figures in Australia's biggest sport, and has played and coached more games than anyone else in the history of Australian Rules. Over his more than 50 years in the game, he won three premierships as a player, four as a coach, and is an official Legend in the Australian Football Hall of Fame. Loved by all for his colourful ways, forthright opinions and insatiable curiosity, 'Sheeds' is also admired for his pioneering spirit, for conceiving blockbuster occasions like the Anzac Day and Dreamtime games, and for being a passionate advocate of Indigenous participation at every level of football. He is one of the few footy figures who transcends club loyalties. This is his eighth book.
