Veronica Christine has always believed that every animal has a story worth telling and has made it her mission to bring those stories to life. Raised in the suburbs of northern Illinois, she grew up with a big heart for animals and a vivid imagination to match. After a career in healthcare, life took an unexpected turn when a rare autoimmune disease affected her vision. With the support and encouragement of her family, her daughter's collaboration as co-author, and both children's help with editing and submitting the story, she was able to fulfill her dream of sharing it with others.The story was inspired by a very sick kitten who, against all odds, grew into a beautiful cat and beloved companion for over nineteen years.A proud mother of two and grandmother of six, Veronica enjoys spending time with her family, especially doing activities with her grandchildren and cheering them on in all their sports and interests. She treasures her grandchildren and hopes that her stories will be a legacy of love for them and generations to come.
