Overview

Ice Cream at the Ashram Embark on a Holy Journey--to the ancient city of Rishikesh, via airplane, taxi, train, careening bus, too many auto-rickshaws and even more dusty roads, a journey to the heart of faith. Travel to a Holy River--the Ganges, where pilgrims have immersed themselves for millennia, seeking renewal and release, a river of living water sloshing, stirring, overflowing. Stay for a Holy Week--as Christians remember the passion-filled life and death of Jesus and marvel at the mystery of resurrection, as strangers walk and talk, search and seek, argue and eat together. And what could be more holy than ice cream?
