Kate Goldbas is an opera singer, author and early childhood educator who created her debut picture book, I Wish That I Could Be a Whale as a musical guessing game for her animal-loving son. Through school residencies and library concerts, the song has delighted thousands of children. Kate lives in Connecticut with her husband, their two young sons and an impressive menagerie of animal figurines. Olivia Chindamo is an illustrator and acclaimed jazz vocalist originally from Australia. Olivia's portfolio spans a wide range of mediums, from gouache and watercolor to digital paintings and often features whimsical landscapes and wonky houses. The artwork in this book was drawn digitally on an iPad with an Apple Pencil. Olivia lives in Queens, New York, with her husband and their two cats.
