Specializing in race and gender hegemony, intersectionality, and Black women's agency in the workplace, Linde is a graduate of York University (Canada), Yale University, and Hunter College of the City University of New York. She has taught at Columbia University, York College of the City University of New York, and William Paterson University.Her scholarly interests range widely within the rubric of postcolonial perspectives, critical anthropologies, feminisms, cultural diversity, and social justice. She is particularly interested in subaltern voices and the socio-cultural relativity of social science research and evaluation methodologies. Linde brings these interests into the classroom, encouraging students to critically engage with Western constructs of knowledge and recognize both the ruptures and continuities within them.
