Sheena grew up in Jeanerette, Louisiana, following in her mother's and grandmother's shadow as they lead her to the church by the tracks, Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. She watched her grandmother read a daily devotional book and always wanted one of her own. Her mother required her to spend time participating in youth ministries, which eventually lead her to attending Bible Study classes. Her love for writing about following God and reading His Word grew in those classes. She currently lives in Ruston, Louisiana, where she teaches blind students and attends First Baptist Church of Ruston. Her goal is to share God's word in a way that's understood by many, despite their denomination. She also looks to share her experiences of how God continues to work in her life and lead her through the green and brown pastures!
