As son of immigrant I have found this book very useful to guide my son toward the learning of Italian language. Learning through funny musical nursery rhymes is funny and easier. my son is enthusiastic! the book I miei primi 10 passi is great as birthday gift for children 0-6 yrs old. It is perfect as gift for baby shower and for anyone who is non-Italian speaker but that wishes to learn the language.

"Ingrid Pagliarulo is a professional is voice actress, songwriter, screenwriter, storyteller, and teacher. As the voice for Think Italian Magazine and for the mascot ""Tino l'elefantino 100% Italiano,"" Ingrid currently teaches Italian and theater to toddlers, children, and teenagers at the Italian Foundation in Los Angeles. Born in Naples, Italy, Ingrid financed her studies in Italian Literature and Philosophy by teaching children and working as head of distribution and publishing for publishing house De Agostini, Bruno and Arnoldo Mondadori, as well as a representative for De Agostini Scuola in her hometown. She started her artistic career as a children's entertainer, and after a full life of extraordinary adventures and events, she arrived in Los Angeles, where she currently lives and works. Inspired by her young American students and driven by the need to help her newborn nephew Luca learn Italian, she decided to take on this project with the ultimate goal of accompanying her students on their path of learning the Italian language, culture, and customs. Bego�a True Biography I was born in South Africa in 1970, from a southafrican mother and a spanish father. I draw and paint since I can remember, and always had a wild imagination. I use to spend hours in my own dream world. Naturally my imaginary world would come to life in my drawings. I never took art classes, all I needed was to take a pencil and my creativity would flow. Later on in life a friend of mine asked me to do some illustrations for a children's book she wanted to write, though she ended up not writing it. But I was so thrilled with the idea that I wrote a story myself and made the illustrations for it and realized how I enjoyed it. The book was quite amateur so I left it there. However in my early thirties I wrote another story about creation and how we came into existence. I was wondering about all this one day and I took a pen and a story flowed in the form of a poem for kids. I made the illustrations. I was really happy with it and started to ask around on the internet how to get it published, and my first client turned up. Since then I have illustrated for several other authors. Not of all them turned up publishing their books for different reasons, but I have enjoyed all them. All the stories had something that I really liked. Some were great stories, some were really fun, some I illustrated because of their sweetness. And along the way I wrote another book and illustrated it of course, about a girl that creates her own world. I only illustrate the stories that I like, and Ingrid's book is one of them. I loved drawing the baby of the book, and creating his little bedroom, and the sweetness of his mother while taking care of him, as well as the farm with all the animals. I also paint, landscapes, animals, architecture, fantasy... For paintings I use acrylic or watercolours, and for illustrating I use mainly coloured pencils and sometimes watercolours too. Born in Napoli (Italy) and based in Los Angeles (California), Both as a musician and producer is widely recognized as one of those bassists in the music industry, who has garnered the respect and admiration of other professional musicians and producers who he has collaborated with both on stage and in studio. During the last 10 years his ""bass vibrations"" got him to collaborate with a number of great artists such as Alejandro Fernandez, David Bisbal, Alejandra Guzman, Miriam Hernandez, Natalie Jimenez, Diego Verdaguer, Anahi, Christian Javez, Leila Forouhar, Semi Beigi, Pyruz Payandeh Azad, Siavash Shams. In despite of being a busy musician he found time to share his knowledge in many other ways. In the late 2000 he owned a music school ""Zero dB"" where he taught music to children through the music Yamaha method. From 2007 to 2010 he has composed soundtracks for theater projects at the association ""Raggio di Sole"", Ostia (Roma). In 2015 he started composing music for Ingrid Pagliarulo's classes at the Italian Foundation in Los Angeles.
