OverviewThis volume presents and analyzes a selection of twenty-two choir books, created for Franciscan Observance convents, and kept inside the Museum of San Marco in Florence. The books cover the span of a century: the oldest volume is dated 1438, the most recent 1526. They were taken between 1867 and 1882 from five convents: Ognissanti and Santa Elisabetta in Capitolo (Florence), San Bonaventura al Bosco ai Frati (San Piero a Sieve), San Vivaldo (Montaione), Santi Cosma, and Damiano (Incisa Valdarno).
