Author Information

Danielle McLean is a children’s book writer and editor, living in London. She is mom to Olive and Henry, who are her biggest fans, and who love books as much as she does. She’s written books about a lot of fun things like magical mermicorns, mysterious sparkly poop, friendly fungi, and much, much more. Carole Aufranc is an illustrator based in Lake Geneva, Switzerland. After completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Illustration, she specialized with a Masters in Children's Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art. Her art is created using a delicate digital technique combining hand-painted papers and collages. She has developed her style over the years, drawing inspiration especially from her love of nature, Nordic simplicity, and mid-century art.
