JoAnn Quitmeyer is a graduate of New Ulm High School and the University of Minnesota. She worked as a chemist for more than four decades at EcoLab in Saint Paul, MN, W.R.Grace in Lexington, MA and retired as Director of Research and Development at Kyzen Corporation in Nashville, TN. She is widowed, mother of one and grandmother of one and lives in Mount Juliet, TN. Wallace Quitmeyer (1937-2018) was an avid photography hobbyist for most of his adult life and was most active following his retirement in 2000.
