Author Information
Paty Millán Montesinos, a first-generation Mexican American from Livingston, CA, in the Central Valley, draws strength and resilience from her parents' courageous journey as immigrants from Michoacán, Mexico, showcasing her unwavering determination. She is a storyteller, Product Manager, Data Scientist, and Latina in Tech, also serving as a mentor, Alumni advisor, wife, and mother. Currently residing in the Bay Area with her husband and son, Paty finds her greatest inspiration for writing children's books in her son and her commitment to diversity and inclusion. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, backpacking through National and State Parks with her STEM sisters, playing soccer, and dancing with her family.
