Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationRosy Carrick is a writer and performer whose work charts an unusually eclectic trajectory. Her debut poetry collection Chokey was published by Burning Eye in 2018. Rosy has co-hosted the Glastonbury Poetry & Words stage for the last decade. She co-hosted the Latitude poetry stage between 2011 and 2016, and was co-curator and co-host of the Port Eliot poetry stage between 2017 and 2019. She ran the monthly performance poetry event Hammer & Tongue Brighton between 2008 and 2015, as well as the annual Poets vs MCs event at Brighton’s Concorde 2. Rosy has a PhD on the poetry of Vladimir Mayakovsky and has released two books of his work in translation: Volodya (Enitharmon, 2015) and Vladimir Ilyich Lenin (Smokestack, 2017).
