Overview

I Just Need A Tail is about a little girl, Avery, that loves cats so much that she wants to convince everyone she actually is a cat. Throughout the story Avery goes through her day doing catlike things alongside her feline friend. They do everything together, like pounce on her brother's blanket as he drags it across the floor or come alive at night with an abundance of energy. At the end of the story Avery curls up in her mom's lap thinking about how close to a cat she really is, and that the only thing she is truly lacking is a tail.
