Overview

In the third book of the I, Human series, Captain Magnusson and the fleet continue their journey through the solar system. Onboard the Starship Veda is Astra, an Ingentum from the planet Gigas, where cities made of crystalline structures reflect the rays of the twin suns. Initially, the Captain is suspicious as to why Astra is interested in traveling with the fleet. But with the help of the Chaplin, he dispels any misgivings when Padre gives Astra the all-clear. Besides, Astra, with a skin of spiral fractals of blue, gold, and orange, has captivated the Captain. However, Astra is not the only alien onboard Veda. The Captain has made room for Ambassador Tavo Legari, a man who loves his food and women, with Orlando, the cheerful giant from Fortis. Each brings special abilities to the fleet. Continuing the journey, the fleet, having visited two alien worlds beforehand, arrives at Sapentia, the planet of love and wisdom from where one can travel to other worlds without technology. If the above is not interesting enough for you, then look inside for a fascinating conversation between scientists concerning dimensions 1 to 11. Meanwhile, as the fleet travels to the end of the solar system, the darkness at the galaxy's rim continues to grow, swallowing entire solar systems in its path. No one knows what causes this darkness, but the Captain is determined to find out.
