Luis Christian Patlan is an author, activist, and entrepreneur based in Phoenix, Arizona. Born in Mexico and raised in the United States from a young age, Christian brings a deeply personal perspective to his writing, rooted in the lived experience of navigating life as an undocumented immigrant. He holds both an MBA and a Master of Arts in Diplomacy and International Relations from Seton Hall University. Passionate about social justice, he has worked with numerous organizations to elevate awareness around issues affecting Latin and deaf communities. In I Couldn't Afford A Mango, his debut work, Christian shares a poignant narrative of resilience, identity, and the enduring human spirit.
