Author Information

The author worked with kids most of her life, starting out as a preschool teacher, home-schooling 20+ year and working with kids in various volunteer teaching opportunities. In 2004, she was diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis after years of pelvic pain etc. Other medicalconditions complicated her IC, making her pain severe and hard to control. This lead her into research to find coping tools to help control the pain and allowed her to see the great need for support in her area. Which expanded to include all of Missouri and Arkansas. In the process of trying to help patients she became burdened by the lack of information for kids with Interstitial Cystitis /Painful Bladder, along with the increase in those being diagnosed at a younger ages. This book was written to help meet that need! .
