OverviewAmira Alzaneen is a woman who lives in the Gaza Strip. This is the story of her family's harrowing fight for survival in the days from October 2023 to August 2024, intensely revealed through her ongoing exchange of text messages and photographs with Jeannie Amash, an American-born daughter of a Palestinian refugee and founder of TreeWater Initiative. TreeWater Initiative is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization in the United States dedicated to cultivating seeds of possibility in Gaza and all of Palestine.
