Author Information

Amy McGarry grew up in Spokane Valley, Washington. She received her BA and Masters in Teaching from The Evergreen State College. Before joining the Peace Corps, she taught high school English, history and drama in Sequim, WA. Before that, she worked as a massage therapist in San Diego, CA. Other jobs she's held include veterinarian's assistant, curriculum writer, and coffee barista. She currently resides in Spokane Valley with her husband, daughter and two cats. She teaches English as a Second Language at Mukogawa Fort Wright Institute, the American branch of Mukogawa Women's University in Japan. Her two favorite hobbies are travel and reading. I am Farang is her first book.
