OverviewIn the third installment of Ayira's story, she faces a unique and responsibility-heavy choice. If she chooses to go for it, she may be able to change her life and the lives of all those around her. Ayira has done a lot in her young life-and her dreams are about to become reality. After a ritual in which she fully realizes herself and her powers, Ayira dons the mantle of bringing her magic into the real world. Now, she can turn the magic of her childhood imagination into the real magic of her true self. But with that much power comes a level of responsibility she hasn't had before. Thankfully, Ayira isn't alone. After deciding on her lifetime of adventure-to always take the path less trodden to discover those in need and do the right thing-Ayira declares herself and her powers to the world. She chooses a life of self-appointed public service and joins the ranks of other heroes with special powers who protect the animals and citizens of the city from crime and cruelty. With this newfound power in herself and freedom to be her truest form, Ayira sets the stage for dozens of more adventures ahead, now with the power to change even more lives for the better. I Am Ayira is an empowering and fantastical third book in the series for middle schoolers. Its themes of freedom, authenticity, and justice will inspire the younger generation, giving them hope for who they can choose to become in their futures and who they'll help along the way to self-actualization.
