They loved how it was based on a true story and took place in the mountains (which we now live in here in Utah). Nice illustrations and a nice story to highlight stress and how to cope with it. Cynthia Ross has produced a fun book with an important message. The illustrations are great, too. The little girl in the story learns to relax and look for solutions rather than freaking out when things aren't easy. Her adventure is told in a relaxed, patient tone that works perfectly. A great addition to any youngster's bookshelf. Learning how to do things takes patience and practice! What a great lesson for little ones in this sweet story! Fun story about problem solving, trying again, and persevering. Great skills for kids! I enjoyed the colorful images. Would make a great gift for kids. Engaging story about a little girl learning how to learn, whether by repetition or slowing down long enough to think through possible choices. Very age appropriate. Great for a read-aloud time to spark conversation. Colorful illustrations. This beautiful story about a little girl learning to solve problems calmly and confidently is a wonderful addition to any young child's library. The colorful illustrations are engaging and perfectly complement the simple yet powerful message. My kids loved following her journey, and it sparked meaningful conversations about patience and perseverance. Highly recommended for parents and educators looking to nurture critical thinking and emotional resilience in young children.
