Author Information

H.E. Lynne is nobody. Nobody any different than any other average, white, middle class American. She is just a person who sees a lack of empathy in the way that many people are treated and in this case, poor Central American and Mexican undocumented workers in the U.S. She became interested in the true stories of people who came to the U.S. illegally when an undocumented worker shared his story in a bar one night over a beer. Brought to tears by what drives this behavior and what happens to people who make the decision to cross the border illegally, she began to interview other undocumented workers for their stories. H.E. Lynne hopes that if just one person reads the stories and if just one mind is changed, or just one person finds some empathy in their heart, she will have done her job.
