This book: hydroponics for beginners does just what you think it does. It will inform you about how to start your hydroponics system. It talks about the equipment, nutrients, sources of water, nutrients, liquid and dry, measuring nutrients, plants, biological pest control, and much more. I recommend this book to anyone who would like to start doing hydroponics. This book talks about Kratky, nutrient film technique, fogponics, low-pressure aeroponics, high-pressure aeroponics, ebb, and flow or flood and drain, several drip systems like dutch buckets and vertical gardening. This is THE complete book about hydroponics! Great detail and very informative and interesting. Great for later reference. My son has been doing great using hydroponic gardening for peppers. I have learned quite a lot in this book by Nick Jones. It's incredible value for what you pay for it. Just the chapter about artificial light is worth the price on its own! I recommend this book to everyone who is looking to grow vegetables from their backyard! I wanted a good overview of the process and important bits to be successful in trying to grow vegetables using hydroponics. I was very happy with this book. It covered several Methods and many important things to know about watering, nutrients, and lighting. Touched on ph and conductivity issues than one would need to understand at least a bit about. A very informative book told me what I wanted to know
