Dr. Mansi Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and Environmental Sciences at Sharda School of Engineering and Science, Sharda University, Uttar Pradesh, India. She completed her Ph.D. in 2023 in the field of Environment Science from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. She completed her B.Sc. in 2013 in Biomedical Sciences from Delhi University, India and M.Sc. in 2015 in Biodiversity and Conservation, University School of Environment Management from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, India. She was a rank 1 holder and gold medalist in M.Sc. and qualified UGC-NET (JRF) in 2018. Her areas of research interest include Ecophysiology, Stress physiology, Sustainable agriculture, Biodiversity & Conservation, and Environmental remediation. She has published 12 research/review articles in high impact factor journals of National/International repute (All Scopus/SCI-indexed) and 2 book chapters. Her most cited articles in the last few years include: 1. “Essential oils as anticancer agents: Potential role in malignancies, drug delivery mechanisms, and immune system enhancement” (published in the Journal of Biomedicine and Pharmacotherapy; IF = 6.9) and 2. “Plant essential oils as biopesticides: Applications, mechanisms, innovations, and constraints” (Published in the MDPI Journal Plants; IF = 4.4). Currently, she has an h-index (Scopus/Google scholar) of 6 and i-10 index (Google scholar) of 5. She is already one of the Editors of a running book proposal accepted by Springer Nature (80% work has been accomplished). She has participated and presented her research work in a number of National and International Conferences. She is an active reviewer for the following journals: Journal of Energy Storage (by Wiley), Journal of Porous Materials (Springer Nature), Journal of Polymers and the Environment (Springer Nature), Journal of Materials Protection, and Exploration of Foods and Foodomics. Dr. Priyanka Mahajan is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the University Center for Research and Development (UCRD), Chandigarh University, Mohali, Punjab. She has 3 years of teaching experience and 5 years of post-doctoral research experience in the field of plant sciences. She has completed her graduation and post-graduation degree from Panjab University, Chandigarh in Botany (Hons.). She has acquired her Ph.D. degree from Department of Botany, Panjab University, Chandigarh in the field of Botany (Eco-physiology) in 2015. The potential of monoterpene (Beta-pinene)- a natural plant product was explored to ameliorate the phytotoxic effects of hexavalent chromium in the cereal crops during her doctorate and post- doctorate research. Her academic and research achievements include Gold-Medal in M.Sc., 13 research and review articles in the international journal of high impact factors, 2 edited books, and 4 book chapters. She has participated and presented her research work in number of national and international conferences. Dr. Har Mohan Singh is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and Environmental Sciences, Sharda University, Greater Noida, India. He was Guest Faculty at Department of Environmental Sciences, BBA University (A Central University), Lucknow, U.P., India and Guest Lecturer at Institute of Newand Renewable Energy, University of Lucknow. He completed his Ph.D. from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, Jammu, India. He did M. Tech. (Energy and Environment) and M.Sc. (Environmental Science) from Department of Environmental Sciences, BBA University (A Central University), Lucknow, U.P., India. His main area of research is to develop algal cultivation systems (photobioreactors) and value-added products from algal biomass. He is actively involved in waste to energy and treatment of wastewater, phyco-remediation, and wastewater treatment technologies. He has published 30 articles (Research/Review) in reputed International Journals with good impact factor and also 15 book chapters in the edited book published by reputed publishing houses. He was awarded Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) under the National Renewable Energy-Fellowship Program by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Govt. of India in 2017. Dr. Singh is a Lifetime member of Biotech Research Society of India [BRSI]. He is serving as an active reviewer for various national and international journals. He is awarded Best Oral Presentation for “Photobioreactors as Green Factories for Food, Fuel, Feed and Fertilizers” at National Conference on Sustainable Environment: Water-Health Agriculture-Climate Nexus-2022 (SEWHACN-2022), Department of Environmental Sciences, Central University of Jammu, India. He is one of the Editors of a running book proposal accepted by Springer Nature (80% work has been accomplished).
