OverviewAdvancing Hemostasis: Innovations in Hybrid Polymeric Biomaterials provides an in-depth review of hybrid polymeric biomaterials and their applications in hemostasis, particularly at the interface where polymers and nanomaterials meet. This advanced guide explores the transformative potential of these materials in bleeding management, infection control, and wound healing. Chapters cover a range of hybrid polymeric biomaterials, including polysaccharide-based hemostatic biomaterials, peptide and protein hybrid biomaterials, nanostructured hemostatic hybrid biomaterials and more; in addition, a selection of key clinical case studies is detailed, bridging the gap between research and clinics to enhance patient care outcomes. Advancing Hemostasis: Innovations in Hybrid Polymeric Biomaterials is an invaluable resource for academic and industrial researchers, professionals, and students in the fields of biomaterials, nanotechnology, and tissue engineering, as well as clinicians interested in the development of novel biomaterials for hemostasis.
