Hussein Mohamed Farrah, (born August 16, 1962) is a United States Marine Corps veteran and a former president of Somalia.Born in in Beledweyne, Farrah is a son of Mohamed Farrah Aidid and is sometimes known as Hussein Mohamed Farrah Aidid, Hussein Aidid or Aidid Junior. He emigrated to the United States when he was 17 years old, and attended Covina High School, Covina, California, graduating in 1981. He married Ayan Ali Elmi, a daughter of Ali Elmi - a former Somali General and friend to his father. The marriage ended in divorce and his former wife remained in the United States
