Suffering heavy damage in the wake of Hurricane Maria in 2017, Puerto Rican communities lacked access to clean water and electricity. Salvador Gomez-Colon couldn't ignore the basic needs of his homeland and knew that nongovernmental organizations and larger foreign philanthropies could only do so much. Salvador Gomez-Colon is the author of Hurricane. A climate resilience advocate and the founder of Light and Hope for Puerto Rico, he has had his work covered by outlets such as Time, CNN, The Guardian, and The New York Times. He lives in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Ramon de Ocampo has been telling stories in the audiobook industry for years and has narrated over a hundred titles. The voice of many bestsellers, including the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series and Jonathan Tropper's This Is Where I Leave You, he is a recipient of the prestigious Audie Award as well as many Earphone Awards. Qarie Marshall has narrated over thirty series for the Discovery Channel and the BBC. He has also been a guest voice on Comedy Central's Drawn Together and has recorded BBC radio plays, the in-flight programming for Virgin Atlantic Airlines, over eighty video games for the PlayStation and Xbox, and numerous audiobooks. In 2007, he was made an Associate Artist of The Purple Rose Theatre.
