Itai T. Mupanduki was born in Zimbabwe and emigrated to the USA in the early 1990s. He trained as a physician and public health consultant and has worked in many states in the US, including Hawaii, as well as US territories like the US Virgin Islands and Guam, and in Zimbabwe. He has travelled extensively in Central and South America, Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Pacific rim.
