Hurricane Harper

Overview

Harper doesn't make mess... she makes MAGIC. Spilled cereal? She's practising to be a chef. Peanut butter on the walls? Clearly, an artist in the making. Wearing a tutu to bed? Future fashion icon. Harper's big imagination turns every bit of chaos into a brand-new adventure. One moment she's a dentist brushing her dolls' teeth, the next she's a firefighter with a garden hose. Hurricane Harper is a laugh-out-loud story about one unstoppable little sister who's not being naughty - she's just practising to change the world. Perfect for ages 2-5, this is a heart-filled tribute to big imaginations, wild energy and the magic of play.

Author Information

Sarah Sloan is a small business owner, mum of two, and loyal sidekick to one very fluffy, very energetic dog. Following in her parents' footsteps, she began her career as a primary school teacher. But her passion for photography - and desire to spend more time with her kids - soon led her to swap the classroom for the camera. As a child, Sarah could often be found curled up with a book, usually under the bed with a torch when she was meant to be cleaning. That lifelong love of stories is something she now brings to life through her photography. Originally from regional Victoria (Wodonga, if you know it), Sarah now lives in sunny Queensland with her two kids and her four-legged shadow.
