Amy is now a 23 year old freelance visual development artist and illustrator with a degree in Illustration from The Edinburgh College of Art. She wrote Hungry For Change in the space of three years after discharge from hospital at age 17. At first it was intended for personal use only, but soon she realised the benefits others would experience from sharing her story. Amy takes talks and presentations in schools about her experiences through anorexia and inpatient hospital, in an attempt to raise awareness about mental health. She is currently writing and illustrating a series of younger children's books to educate the younger audiences about such issues.
