Overview

Demarco has a plan for his life. He will work hard, become a chiropractor, and live a life of middle-class comfort. The arrival of his baby daughter on his doorstep was not part of the plan, but with the help of his friend Jonathan, it will not derail things. At least, not as much as being accidentally turned into a dragon and discovering that he has a mate. Now, not only does he have school to contend with, but he also has to learn about the ways of shifters. He is not the only one who has discovered shifters, and it might well be that the organization known only as Hunters has discovered the whereabouts of the new Haven. With one upset after another, Demarco holds on, but when the threats of Hunters and kidnappings suddenly include his mate and daughter, what is a new shifter to do but learn to fly and search for himself?
