He graduated in medicine from Albert Szent-Györgyi Medical University in Hungary (University of Szeged), and received his Ph.D. in Neuroscience at the same institution. He is a lecturer of gross anatomy and neuroanatomy since 1993 and is also Program Director of Histology at LECOM. He is the Founder and Director of Neuroendocrine Organization Laboratory (NEO).
