He has taught at the University of Colorado at Denver, University of Denver, University of Colorado in Boulder, University of Washington, and Colorado College. Dan has done pioneering work on critical thinking, sustainability, and the root causes of the environmental crisis. He has been involved in environmental issues since the 1970s.
