What if we can better understand who we are, by listening more closely to what our entire beings are trying to teach us? And what if that new story can lead us to far more fulfilling futures? That is the promise of Hozho- a frame-changing new book from internationally recognized medicine woman and leadership expert Granddaughter Crow (Joy Gray, PhD). Here, Granddaughter Crow teaches us how to examine and then improve our inner narratives by listening more closely to our Four Bodies Of Existence- Our physical bodies-whose intelligence informs our survival instincts and our reflexes Our hearts-whose emotions, built by our literal hearts and neurons, bond us to (or distance ourselves from) our communities Our brains-which control our capacities for mindfulness and store our wisdom Our souls-which represent theour undeniable life-force that guides all we do Granddaughter Crow teaches us to explore how each body shows up in our embodied experiences, works together, and operates on its own. Supplemented with journal prompts, reflections, and exercises, this work invites you into deeper awareness of your authentic story-and offers a lens to live into your most empowered and integrated self.

Reviews

""Hozho is more than just a book; it is a vital invitation rooted in profound Indigenous wisdom that promises to reframe your understanding of self fundamentally. Granddaughter Crow, an internationally recognized medicine woman and leadership expert with extensive experience in Indigenous traditions, delivers a revelatory guide that confronts the limiting stories we tell ourselves about who we are and what we can achieve by introducing the concept of the Four Bodies of Existence: our physical bodies, our hearts, our brains, and our souls. Crow provides a practical and spiritual framework for radical self-reclamation. She teaches us how to listen deeply to the unique intelligence informing our survival, community bonds, wisdom, and undeniable life-force. If you seek a path to balance, a more accurate inner narrative, and a far more fulfilling future, Hozho is that essential, life-changing resource."" ―Elhoim Leafar, author of Manifestation Magic and Dream Witchery
