Cal Newport is an associate professor of computer science at Georgetown University and the author of six books, including Deep Work and So Good They Can't Ignore You. You won't find him on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram, but you can often find him at home with his family in Washington, DC, or writing essays for his popular website calnewport.com. Roger Wayne hails from small-town Minnesota. He served in the Air Force as a broadcast journalist in South Korea. After doing plays in early college he earned an acting scholarship and obtained his BA in communications and journalism. He worked as an actor for two years in Minneapolis and then moved to NYC, where he continues to work in TV, film, theater, and voice-over.
