McNeill), and the Order of the Long Leaf Pine (awarded by North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory), and many other awards. Sheriff Peterkin is a Singer, Songwriter, Author, Public Speaker, and a consultant. He is married to Mrs. Della Monroe Peterkin and has three children, Antisha Peterkin, LaSwanda Peterkin, and Antonio Peterkin.
