With this eBook I will take you through the steps I took to build my investment portfolio on eToro. My understanding of why you would want to build wealth and break free from the 9-5 routine. You are probably wondering - why would someone write another investment book when there are a gazillion books on investment already. You are correct in that, so many investment books and courses that it would be silly if one was to say I don't know how to invest due to lack of knowledge sources out there. This book I write is not for you to learn how to invest, but to get a view of the process I went through to setup my own passive income stream using stock and other asset investing on the eToro platform. It provides brief details on the concepts of investing, why you should consider investing and then goes into how you can start setting up your own portfolio. I started my journey into investing a few years ago, following what many people tend to do. Like opening a savings account, setting up an ISA. I then opted into company pension scheme. My interest gradually shifted towards looking at how I can gain more knowledge on finance and being able to generate income without having to work long hours. That journey of financial knowledge took me to websites, blogs, and books. I started to read books like: The 4-Hour Workweek - Book by Tim Ferriss, Rich Dad Poor Dad is a 1997 book written by Robert Kiyosaki, Think and Grow Rich was written by Napoleon Hill in 1937 and many other books, YouTube videos and so on. There just was too much knowledge to internalize and digest then to find way and means to apply. Just so much to take in and understand. Being the type of person who just wants to get on with it, I had to act even if it meant taking some level of financial risk. Fortunately, I acted and found a way of investing. This book goes into the options that I selected and the eToro platform I used. It should help you get started very quickly. My approach, I tried to keep it simple and provide just enough details to get you started, once you take the initial step, then build up as much knowledge as you feel is necessary for you to grow wealth and maintain it long term. Usually, human psychology of give-n-take kicks in. When you see some positive results, your mind feels much better in pushing you to do more learning.
