Hufford offers a comprehensive guide to achieve your goals. Over his 30+ year career as a master craftsman and expert woodworker, John gets asked one question by other woodworkers over and over again: How can I make any money from this hobby? John's book is here to answer that question - and provide the toolkit other woodworkers need to create a passion-fueled, profitable woodworking business. Unlike business books and woodworking technique books, How to Start a Woodworking Business: Bridging the Gap from Hobbyist to Professional combines the sales and business side of the craft with woodworking-specific instructors, making this how-to guide one-of-a-kind. Whether you want to launch a full-time or part-time business, How to Start a Woodworking Business is your guide to building the foundation, understanding how to launch, and carrying through to execution. Author Information

John A. Hufford has enjoyed a wonderful, 30-year career in woodworking. Born and raised in a rural town in Northeastern Pennsylvania, John's first introduction to his love for woodworking was in a high school wood shop. After four years in the Marines, John started a career in sales but desired to own his own business - and never forgot his passion. After moving to North Carolina, he combined his experience in sales with his passion for woodworking and turned it into a successful, full-time business. Now retired, John maintains his same passion but exclusively uses his gift for family and friends.
