OverviewHow to Show Up and Shine in Law School with Gratitude, Grit, and Grace provides tools for both academic and personal success. It's an essential guide for law students embarking on the transformative, often overwhelming journey of law school. Going beyond typical advice on how to take law school exams and law school vocabulary, this book will equip students with the fundamentals of learning the law. This law book is a compassionate guide to support students in their law school study. The guidance in this book isn't only for law students; the book also provides strategies for students' friends, family, and mentors so they can effectively support their loved ones. Reflecting on her own journey of obtaining a law degree, Cherelle recognizes the intense challenges students face and shares the law school outline she wishes she'd had. When considering what a strong law school resume looks like, Cherelle encourages students to consider experiences that matter deeply to them, not just activities chosen because they seem prestigious or beneficial on paper. The book also provides end-of-chapter reflection questions. Targeted not only at law students but also at mental health professionals, DEI advocates, and academic advisors, this book is designed to foster a positive mindset and create a healthier legal profession.
