Overview

All praise is for Allaah, we praise Him, seek His forgiveness, and seek His refuge from the evils of ourselves and the evils of our actions. Whoever Allaah guides, then none can misguide them, and whoever He misguides, then none can guide them. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship besides Allaah the Exalted, Alone, without any partners, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. As to what follows: All praise belongs to Allaah the Exalted who created, first of all, the pen, and Said: 'Write, ' causing it to write everything that will occur until the Day of Resurrection. Likewise, thanks belong to Him the Exalted who has favored His slaves with the blessing of the pen and writing, and mentioned it when He Said (what means): {Nun. By the pen and what they inscribe} [Qur'aan 68:1] So, His taking an oath shows the greatness of the pen and writing, because Allaah the Exalted only swears by something great
