Overview

Influenced by Vincent van Gogh's paintings, yet not able ever to afford to own one, Marni Lynn has been inspired to create her version of his Starry Sky. Using the same type of brush stroke, she has been able to create the same style that Vincent may have used before he perfected his own. Marni Lynn, after having taken many pictures of her progress, has put together a simple How to Paint Book showing her steps.

Author Information

Marni Lynn Elder is a self-taught artist, filmmaker, musician and writer. She has written a variety of books from Children's Stories, Self-Help, How-To, Coloring Books, Life's Lessons and Spirituality. Living in Victoria, BC Canada beside the ocean on the Inner Harbour of Victoria, when not writing, she and her small dog, Leela, are playing or walking. They also spend time watching the ships, cruise ships, water taxis and sea life from her balcony.
