Donna Shea and Nadine Briggs are both accomplished social educators. As managing partners of their social education/publishing company, How to Make and Keep Friends, LLC, Donna and Nadine have written extremely successful reference books on friendship for both kids and parents. Donna and Nadine consult with schools, parent groups, and human service agencies. As seasoned public speakers, they travel to bring workshops and seminars to schools, conferences and other venues across New England. Donna and Nadine are certified in bullying prevention through the Massachusetts Aggression Reduction Center and are creators of the How to Make & Keep Friends Social Success in School Initiative to provide classroom training, team building and bullying awareness and prevention for schools systems. As social-emotional specialists, they have expertise and training in conflict resolution, emotion management and friendship skill-building. Both Nadine and Donna facilitate friendship groups at their respective social-educational centers in Massachusetts. Donna owns The Peter Pan Center in Boxborough and Nadine owns Simply Social Kids in Tyngsboro.
