Author Information

Carol Schlorff has always felt like an outsider. She was born in North Africa to American parents and grew up in France. At age fifteen, her family abruptly moved to the Philadelphia area due to her mother's deteriorating health. Adjusting to American life while attending high school was a dreadful experience. After graduating from Penn State, Carol joined the Army in search of adventure. She was stationed in exotic-for her-locations like California, Arizona, and Texas. When her time of service was up, she headed off to Chicago to spend a year at Moody Bible Institute to brush up on her biblical knowledge. Since then, Carol has been living in Cracow, Poland, where she teaches English, organizes English language camps, and writes a blog on all faith-related topics (at bibleandsoul.com). Carol enjoys taking care of her cat, Tabasco, visiting new places, watching a good murder mystery, and getting nervous while rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles.
