Lonnie W Bennett was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, the second son of Norma and Glen Bennett. At age 19 he entered the ministry. His education began at the Cincinnati Bible College and was furthered at the Grundy Bible Institute, Wheaton College and at the LaSalle University. He is the father of 6 and grandfather of 20. His writing career began with a book on Alzheimer's in 2014 after a nine-year tragic journey taken with his wife Sharon.
