Overview

I am Dr H Bastawy. I don't specialize in disabilities or neuro-disabilities. But I have managed through research and experience to help my disabled child who was initially diagnosed with quadruple cerebral palsy - paralysis in all limbs and spine - to eventually develop the ability to stand on his own and take some steps. I thought I would write this as a guide to help anyone who may have a child with difficulties of a similar nature. The theory and practice that I developed for the effective treatment of this condition is called Reflective Signalling. I wrote this guide in simple language to make it accessible for the everday person and in steps that could be followed and tailored depending of the nature of every disability.
