She's making great strides with the repairs on her late grandmother's quaint Irish cottage, the historical Ballycaffey National School. She's overcoming her fear of sheep. And she and childhood friend Biddy McCarthy are enjoying a few harmless shenanigans. Life is grand. That is, until a family heirloom, a gold locket, is stolen when Mags holds a school reunion in her grandmother's memory. Mags soon discovers the thief when she stumbles across his dead body on her family's cemetery plot--the man had been burying a velvet pouch containing cremains and Mags's stolen locket. Eeewww. Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationEliza Watson is a USA Today bestselling author, genealogist, and former event planner. Her genealogy adventures have inspired two fiction series set in Ireland, Scotland, and England. Eliza has researched hundreds of ancestry lines in these countries, including her own. She has solved several unknown parentage cases and is currently completing a certificate program in genetic genealogy. She writes a genealogy column for her monthly author newsletter and has contributed articles to several prestigious publications, including Crossroads (Utah Genealogical Association) and the Septs (Irish Genealogical Society International). When time permits, Eliza enjoys conducting author and ancestry presentations at cultural events. Eliza fulfilled her dream of owning a home in Ireland when she and her husband bought a renovated 1887 schoolhouse in her Coffey ancestors' town in 2013. When she isn't tracing her ancestry roots through Ireland or Scotland, she's at home working on her next novel, bouncing ideas off her husband, Mark, and her cats, Frankie and Sammy. Holly Adams is a classically trained, award-winning actor and narrator who loves every single thing about stories and the beings that inhabit them. With her attention to tone and character integrity, Holly enjoys narrating pretty much anything, and specializes in action-adventure/fantasy, mysteries/thrillers, and the subtle comfort of self-help nonfiction. Holly's first language was Southern, after which her family moved around a lot, finally settling in rural New York. Combined with a love of languages and her professional training, these experiences gave her a range of regional Southern dialects and an excellent capacity for accent and dialect in general. When not behind a mic, Holly continues to perform on stage, in films, and with the circus, especially Red Nose. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
