Overview5.0 out of 5 stars With Gratitude to the Author for Writing this Book!, June 13, 2010 By A reader from Chicago (Chicago) This earlier edition Amazon review is from: How to Forgive When You Can't: The Breakthrough Guide to Free Your Heart & Mind -First edition ISBN 978-0982430705 (Perfect Paperback) It is hard to find a good book on the topic of forgiveness that provides both time-tested advice and practical steps to take to make forgiveness an ongoing part of your life. For anyone who has tried to forgive another, you already know that this is a very difficult path to walk and thing to do. But the author shares many inspiring stories and anecdotes as well as provides many access points for readers to find meaning in forgiving. According to George Herbert (1593-1633): He that cannot forgive others breaks the bridge over which he must pass himself; for every man has need to be forgiven. Thanks to the author for writing this book that is abundant with dozens of essential strategies from forgiveness techniques and blocks to forgiving to aids to empower yourself and how to escape cycles of guilt and victimhood. I will keep this book in my library to refer to again and again.
