Lloyd Evans is an ex-Jehovah's Witness writer, activist and filmmaker. In 2011, he founded JWsurvey.org - an online resource aimed at assisting those who wish to leave the Witness faith. More recently, in 2017, Lloyd published his first book The Reluctant Apostate - a part-memoir, part-reference work interweaving his life story with Watchtower teachings and history. Lloyd has been interviewed on the David Pakman Show, Freethought Radio, the Thinking Atheist podcast, the Secular Jihadists podcast and BBC World Service radio. He has written for various websites, including Hemant Mehta's Friendly Atheist blog. Lloyd's John Cedars YouTube channel has over 20,000 subscribers and has attracted over 5 million views.
