Overview

This book is a collection of explanatory, or ""how-to"" essays written and illustrated by the second and third grade students in Mrs. Baker's class at Mighty Oaks Academy, in February of 2025. Mrs. Baker's students were given the prompt of writing a step-by-step set of instructions for how to do something. The curriculum she used is called Simplify Writing.

Author Information

Lisa Baker is a children's author, editor, publisher, and teacher. She had always enjoyed writing but just as a hobby. In 2019 she finally decided to take the plunge into becoming a published author. At the moment, she has published 8 books, one in Romanian and English as well. She's looking forward to doing a book tour in Romania to share her story, ""Who Dries These Sad Eyes?"" While teaching her second and third grade students, she decided to publish their collection of essays so that her students can be published authors as well.
