Jonathan E. Fortman is an attorney in private practice in St. Louis, Missouri. Jonathan graduated with a degree in psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He went on to law school at the Saint Louis University School of Law, where he graduated with honors. In 1996, he started the Law Office of Jonathan E. Fortman, LLC. Jonathan's practice is devoted to advising and representing franchisees considering the purchase of a franchise and being a staunch advocate for those franchisees who have been victimized by fraudulent franchisors. Jonathan is a member of the Missouri Bar and served as chair of the Missouri Lawyers Assistance Committee of the Missouri Bar from 2001-2003. He is also a member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys. In his free time he likes to write, travel, and study anything related to American history. He lives in St. Louis with his wife, three children, and an old cat named Tibbs.
