Author Information

Davide Cal is a reference in children's and youth literature. He began his career in 1994 as a writer for the Italian magazine Linus. He also writes under the pseudonyms of Taro Miyazawa and Daikon. He currently lives in Genoa, Italy. His illustrated albums and graphic novels have been published in more than twenty-five countries. He has received some of the most important awards in the world of children's books, such as the Belgium Libbylit Award, the Bologna Ragazzi Special Award and the SNCF Award in France. Gmez studied Fine Arts in Salamanca, Spain. A new talent, she has worked for several publishing houses in Europe, such as SM in Spain, Le Petit Bulles Edition in France, and Scholastics and Sterling in the USA. She has published with NubeOcho Bow-Wow-Meow, Danielathe Pirate and the collection Hedgehog and Rabbit, among others.
